Is a vampire facial right for you?

Organic and naturally existing plasma taken from your blood helps speed the healing process after a Skin Pen treatment, and greatly amplifies the production of collagen and anti-aging effect. The body recognizes the canals as “wounds” and builds collagen and fibroblasts in order to heal the skin, resulting in a healthier dermal layer with more collagen. For scarring the microneedling breaks down scar tissue and and builds collagen resulting in a smoother looking and feeling skin surface. It also breaks up hyper pigmented skin cell clusters to encourage skin cell turnover and promote the production of healthy normal colored skin cells. A series of at least 3 treatments is recommended to achieve desired results. Downtime, which includes redness and slight tenderness, is 2-5 days.

Skin is numbed prior to the Vampire Facial for our clients comfort. Our licensed and certified nurse practitioners then draw the clients blood from the arm and places the vial in a centrifuge that spins at a high speed to separate blood cells from PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) cells. The PRP is then applied liberally for the skin’s absorption and for ease and comfort of the glide of the Skin Pen.
